Where does the pricing on each tool page come from?

Every price is taken from the vendor's own pricing page, and each one is stored with a link to the exact page we read and the date we read it.

We do not copy prices from other comparison sites or from review aggregators, because those go stale silently and there is no way to check them. Reading the source ourselves means you can click through and check us.

After the initial research pass, a separate review pass re-opens every source URL and confirms each price, tier, and date against the live page. Anything that does not hold up is corrected or removed. Anything we cannot verify at all is left out rather than guessed.

That is also why some fields are missing on some tools. An absent number means we could not confirm it, which is more useful than a plausible-looking figure nobody checked.
