The short version: this site has no user accounts, sets no tracking cookies, and only learns who you are if you send us a form or an email.
What we collect
Browsing. Nothing that identifies you. We measure traffic with Ahrefs Web Analytics, which is cookieless and aggregates page views without building visitor profiles. Our hosting provider, Vercel, keeps standard server logs (IP address, user agent, requested URL) for a short period to operate and secure the service.
Forms. The claim, feedback and partnership forms collect what you type into them, typically your name, email address and message. Submissions are protected by Cloudflare Turnstile and delivered to our inbox by email through Resend. They are kept as ordinary correspondence and are not added to any marketing list.
The public API and MCP server. Both are read-only, need no account and no key, and collect no personal data. Requests appear in the same hosting logs as any page view. We count tool calls in aggregate, recording only the tool name and the calling application, never who asked or what they asked.
What we do not do
- No advertising, and no data is sold or shared for advertising.
- No tracking cookies and no cross-site profiling.
- No accounts, so there is no account data to breach.
- No marketing emails: we only reply to messages you send us.
Service providers
Five processors handle data on our behalf: Vercel (hosting and server logs), Ahrefs and PostHog (cookieless analytics), Cloudflare (Turnstile spam protection on forms), and Resend (email delivery of form submissions). Each receives only what its job requires.
Your choices
If you have written to us and want that correspondence deleted, email hello@topalternatives.to and we will remove it. The same address answers any question about this policy.
