Best testimonial software for SaaS founders
Senja has the best free plan, Famewall is cheapest, Testimonial.to bundles the most features, and REVIEWS.io fits ecommerce, not SaaS testimonial walls.
Best testimonial software for SaaS founders
The best testimonial software for SaaS founders is Senja if you want the most generous free plan and don't want to pay much once you need unlimited testimonials. Famewall wins on price if you mainly collect text quotes and can live with tighter video limits. Testimonial.to is the pick if you also want a Brand Monitor for social mentions and case study tools bundled into one product. REVIEWS.io doesn't fit most SaaS teams: it's built for ecommerce stores collecting post-purchase reviews, not a founder gathering video and text quotes for a landing page.
All three core tools do the same job. A customer clicks a link, records a short video or types a quote, and you pick which ones to show on a Wall of Love widget on your site. None of them is an open public review marketplace like G2, Trustpilot, or Capterra, where anyone can post and you can't choose what's shown. This post covers only the curated testimonial-collection tools, not those marketplaces. For the marketplace comparison, our Testimonial.to alternatives guide covers Trustpilot as a separate, different-job option.

| Tool | Free plan | Video testimonials | Widget notes |
|---|---|---|---|

| REVIEWS.io | 25 review invites a month, photo and video collection | Built for post-purchase product review photos and video, not a curated testimonial clip | 15+ on-site display widgets start on Essentials at $29/month, but Google Seller Ratings needs Start-Up at $79/month |

Senja: the most generous free plan
Senja's free plan holds 15 real testimonials for good, more than Testimonial.to's 12 or Famewall's 10 on their free plans, and it still includes unlimited widgets and Wall of Love pages. Most tools save widget variety for a paid tier. Senja also auto-transcribes video testimonials and imports existing reviews from 18 other platforms, including G2, Trustpilot, and Shopify, so a new account doesn't start empty.
The jump to paid is where Senja gets simple: Starter at $29/month removes the testimonial cap entirely, no separate video ceiling to work around like Testimonial.to's. The tradeoffs are real, though. Senja dropped live chat for email-only support, video editing is limited to trimming, and custom CSS control over widgets needs a paid plan. If your team outgrows Pro's 5 seats and 5 projects, there's no enterprise tier waiting, just $5/month per extra seat and $10/month per extra project.
Famewall: the cheapest way to a real testimonial wall
Famewall starts at $9.99/month for unlimited text testimonials, less than a third of Testimonial.to's $30 Starter plan and well under Senja's $29 Starter. For a solo founder who mostly wants quotes, not video, that price is hard to beat. The free plan is usable too: 10 testimonials, one wall, and one team member, plus a Chrome extension and CSV import for pulling in reviews you already have from more than 30 platforms.
Video is where the price gap narrows. Standard caps you at 6 video or audio clips with a 2-minute limit. Getting an uncapped count and a 3-minute limit needs Professional at $24.99/month, still cheaper than Senja's Starter, but by about $4 a month rather than the bigger gap the entry price suggests. Team size is also tight: one member on Free and Standard, only three on Professional. And Famewall is a small, newer vendor with few third-party reviews outside its own site, so weigh that before you commit a year of content to it.
Testimonial.to: the most features bundled into one plan
Testimonial.to's collection link and Wall of Love widget are as quick to set up as Senja's or Famewall's, and its free plan is a genuine forever-free tier. Where it earns its higher price is the extras: Google rich snippets so star ratings show up in search results, an API and Zapier on Ultimate, and, on Ultimate+, case study collection, NPS surveys with auto-routing, and an AI testimonial video editor that none of the alternatives combine in one product.
The cost is the catch. Unlimited video testimonials require Ultimate at $60/month per space, not the cheaper $30 Starter plan, and running testimonials for more than one product or brand adds roughly $600 a year per extra space on Ultimate, or $1,140 a year on Ultimate+. Brand Monitor and automated email invitations also sit behind that same $60/month wall. If you only need case studies, surveys, and social monitoring in one place, that price buys real range. If you just need testimonials on a landing page, Senja or Famewall get there for less.
REVIEWS.io: built for ecommerce, not SaaS testimonials
REVIEWS.io looks like it belongs on this list because it also collects and displays customer feedback, but it's solving a different problem for a different buyer. It's a post-purchase review engine for Shopify and BigCommerce stores, sending email and SMS invites after checkout and feeding star ratings into Google Seller Ratings and rich snippets. Its free plan covers 25 invites a month, but the features an ecommerce store actually wants, Google Seller Ratings, Klaviyo sync, AI review summaries, sit behind the $79 and $175 monthly tiers.
None of that is a curated Wall of Love widget for a SaaS landing page, and REVIEWS.io is billed per domain, so running the same brand on more than one top-level domain means paying for each one separately. If you run a SaaS product alongside an ecommerce storefront, REVIEWS.io is worth adding for the storefront's product reviews. It's not a substitute for Senja, Famewall, or Testimonial.to on the SaaS side. Our Senja alternatives guide covers this same tradeoff in more detail.
Which one to actually pick
Start with Senja if you want the best free plan and the fewest limits once you pay. Pick Famewall if the budget is the deciding factor and video volume isn't. Pick Testimonial.to if you want case studies, surveys, and social monitoring bundled with your testimonial wall and don't mind paying more for it. Skip REVIEWS.io unless you're also running an ecommerce store that needs reviews wired into Google search results, since it's a different tool for a different job.

FAQ
What's the best free testimonial software?+
Senja's free plan is the most generous: 15 video and text testimonials for good, with unlimited widgets and Wall of Love pages. Famewall's free plan caps you at 10 testimonials, one wall, and one video plus one audio testimonial. Testimonial.to's free plan caps you at 10 text and 2 video testimonials total, each under 2 minutes, and keeps its own branding on your widget.
Which tool has the best video testimonial limits?+
Famewall's Professional plan, at $24.99/month, gives you an uncapped number of video and audio testimonials with a 3-minute recording limit, cheaper than Testimonial.to's $60/month Ultimate plan for unlimited video at a 5-minute cap. Senja doesn't publish a recording-length cap; its $29/month Starter plan removes the testimonial count limit and adds HD export.
Is REVIEWS.io a good fit for a SaaS company's testimonials?+
Not usually. REVIEWS.io is built for ecommerce stores collecting post-purchase product reviews through email and SMS invites, with pricing and features aimed at Shopify and BigCommerce, like Google Seller Ratings and Klaviyo sync. A SaaS founder collecting curated video and text quotes for a landing page is better served by Senja, Famewall, or Testimonial.to.
Do I need testimonial software if I already have Google or Trustpilot reviews?+
They do different jobs. Testimonial software like Senja, Famewall, or Testimonial.to lets you collect a quote or video and choose which ones to display. Trustpilot and similar sites are open to any customer, including unhappy ones, and you can't curate what's public. Many SaaS founders run a testimonial tool for their site and let public review profiles exist separately.
