Can a vendor pay to be listed or to rank higher?

No. Placement in a ranking is not for sale, and no vendor pays to be added, to rank higher, or to change what a page says about them.

Claiming a page is free and does not move a tool up a ranking. It lets a vendor correct facts about their own product and flags the page as vendor-verified, nothing more.

We do accept partnership pitches for things like content collaborations, and we link out when it genuinely helps readers. Those conversations happen on the partnerships page and they do not touch rankings or verdicts.
