TopAlternativesTo is operated by the team behind Adside. That is stated in the footer of every page and explained on our about page.

It matters because some categories we cover include Adside as one of the alternatives. Where that happens, the page discloses the relationship rather than leaving you to find out elsewhere. You should read those pages with that in mind, which is exactly why the disclosure is there.

Everything else on the site works the same regardless of who owns what. Prices come from vendor pricing pages with the date they were checked, screenshots are captured from live products, and rankings follow the verified data. The methodology page spells out how each of those is produced.
