What is GoHighLevel?

GoHighLevel (built by HighLevel Inc.) bundles a CRM, funnel and website builder, email and SMS marketing, booking calendar, reputation management, and course hosting into one platform. It was built for marketing agencies to run client accounts from a single login, and it lets agencies white-label the whole thing and resell it as their own SaaS product.

Every plan includes unlimited contacts and unlimited users. What changes between plans is how many sub-accounts (client workspaces) you get and whether you can resell the platform under your own brand. The advertised price does not cover usage: SMS, email sends, calls, and AI features are metered and billed separately.

Who it's for

  • Agencies that want to run every client's CRM, funnels, and marketing from one login instead of stitching together separate tools
  • Solopreneurs or agencies who want to white-label and resell the platform to their own clients as a SaaS product

Who should look elsewhere

  • Solo business owners who just want a simple funnel builder without a CRM, calendar, and 20 other tool categories bolted on
  • Teams that want an all-in, predictable monthly bill with no per-message or per-call charges

Pros

  • + One subscription replaces separate CRM, email, SMS, funnel builder, scheduling, reputation, and course tools that would otherwise cost roughly $400-$600 a month bought separately
  • + Unlimited contacts and unlimited users on every plan, even the $97 Starter tier
  • + SaaS mode on the Agency Pro plan lets you resell the platform under your own brand and pricing
  • + Ships new features on a weekly changelog cadence, so the product keeps moving fast

Cons

  • Advertised $97-$497 pricing excludes SMS, email, calling, and AI usage. On the $297 Unlimited plan a typical 10-client agency reports paying an extra $70-$150 a month in usage fees on top of the subscription
  • Steep learning curve: most new users report 2-4 weeks before the platform clicks, since the dashboard packs in 20+ tool categories with no gentle on-ramp
  • Support quality is inconsistent. Users describe getting different answers depending on which agent picks up the ticket, and complex issues can take 24-48 hours or longer
  • Starter plan caps you at 3 sub-accounts, so any agency past a couple of clients has to jump straight to the $297 Unlimited plan

GoHighLevel FAQ

Is GoHighLevel pricing all-inclusive?+

No. The $97-$497 plans cover the platform itself, but SMS, email sends, phone calls, and AI features are billed separately based on usage. Reported real-world spend ranges from about $120-$150 a month for a solo user up to $600-$800+ a month for an agency reselling it as its own SaaS product.

Does GoHighLevel have a free plan?+

No free-forever plan. It offers a 14-day free trial with full feature access on your chosen tier before you're billed.

Can I resell GoHighLevel to my own clients?+

Yes. The Agency Pro plan ($497/month) includes SaaS mode, which lets you set your own pricing and white-label the platform for your clients.

How steep is the learning curve?+

Steep. Most reviewers describe 2-4 weeks before the platform starts to feel manageable, since the dashboard bundles more than 20 tool categories with no guided onboarding path.
