What is Pipedrive?

Pipedrive is a CRM built around a visual sales pipeline. Each deal is a card that moves across stages on a kanban-style board, with contacts, email history, calls, and next actions attached to the card. Salespeople built it for salespeople rather than as a database-first system, so day-to-day work leans on drag-and-drop pipeline management instead of complex record layouts.

The product has grown well beyond a plain pipeline tool. Paid plans add email sync and sequences, workflow automation, forecasting and reporting, an AI Sales Assistant, and a Projects module for post-sale work. In 2025, Pipedrive consolidated its five old plan names into four (Lite, Growth, Premium, Ultimate) and moved several previously bundled capabilities, like lead generation and e-signatures, up into higher tiers.

Pipedrive is privately held. Vista Equity Partners has held majority ownership since 2020. The company is headquartered in New York, with engineering roots in Tallinn, Estonia.

Prices are per seat per month, billed annually. We pulled them directly from pipedrive.com/en/pricing, using a text-rendering proxy after a direct request got blocked by a Cloudflare bot check, then cross-checked them against the live plan-pricing config embedded in a June 8, 2026 Wayback Machine snapshot of the same page. Premium's annual per-seat price rose from $49 to $59 effective 2025-10-01 (config code premium_annual_v3). Several third-party pricing trackers still quote the stale $49 figure. Monthly billing, with no annual commitment, runs $24/$49/$79/$99 per seat per month for Lite, Growth, Premium, and Ultimate, confirmed via the same embedded config. Pipedrive rebranded its tiers in 2025: Essential became Lite, Advanced became Growth, Professional and Power merged into Premium, and Enterprise became Ultimate. Add-ons like LeadBooster, Web Visitors, Smart Docs, Projects, and Campaigns are billed separately on lower tiers. Is Pipedrive still actively developed?

Last significant update: June 2026. Pipedrive launched a native MCP (Model Context Protocol) server.
