Motion is a creative analytics platform for performance marketers who are already running paid social ads and need to know which creative concepts are actually working. You connect your Meta, TikTok, and YouTube ad accounts, and Motion auto-tags every ad across categories like hook, format, and messaging angle, then lets you build reports that group and rank ads by any of those tags alongside spend, ROAS, and other performance metrics.
The reporting engine is the strongest part of the product. You can slice performance by creator, product, or messaging angle instead of scrolling through Ads Manager one campaign at a time. Motion recently added Runneth, an AI teammate that sits on top of that data to write hooks, draft creative briefs, and do competitor research.
Pricing is tied to your monthly ad spend rather than seat count, and only the entry tier has a public price. Anything above $50k/month in spend means booking a call.

Who it's for
- ✓ Performance marketing and creative teams spending under $50k/month on Meta, TikTok, or YouTube who want a self-serve way to see which hooks and formats are winning
- ✓ Teams that already tag creatives with a naming convention and want that structure turned into leaderboards and cross-account reports
Who should look elsewhere
- ✗ Teams running meaningful spend on Google Ads, since Motion doesn't analyze Google Ads creative at all
- ✗ Agencies or brands over the $50k/month spend line who want a fixed, published price instead of a sales conversation
- ✗ Teams whose attribution stack is Appsflyer, Adjust, Triple Whale, or Segment, since Motion's attribution integrations are limited to Northbeam and Google Analytics
Pros
- + Auto-tags ads across categories like hook, format, angle, and messaging so you can build performance reports without manual spreadsheet work
- + Starter plan includes unlimited seats and unlimited ad accounts for one flat price
- + Runneth adds an AI layer that writes hooks and creative briefs directly from your own performance data instead of generic prompts
- + G2 reviewers highlight the visual, creative-first reporting as faster and more intuitive than digging through raw ad-platform data
Cons
- – Pricing scales with ad spend, not features, so a brand that grows past $50k/month gets pushed into a quote-only Pro tier with no published price
- – No free plan and no self-serve trial, so you can't test the product without booking a demo
- – Doesn't analyze Google Ads creative, and TikTok, YouTube, and LinkedIn get fewer features than Meta
- – Attribution integrations are limited to Northbeam and Google Analytics, so teams on Appsflyer, Adjust, or Triple Whale can't pull that data in
- – No built-in fatigue alerts, so Motion won't flag a creative that's starting to decline before you go look for it

What you pay for
Motion charges by how much you spend on ads, not by seat. The $250/month Starter plan covers brands spending up to $50k/month and includes unlimited seats and ad accounts. Once you spend more than $50k/month you need Pro, and past $250k/month you need Growth, and both of those require a sales call with no price posted. There is no free plan and no self-serve way to see what the higher tiers cost until you talk to sales.
At about $250/month to start, it sits at the higher end of Ad Creative Analytics pricing.
| Plan | Price | Highlights |
|---|---|---|
| Starter | $250/mo | For brands spending up to $50k/month on ads · AI tags across categories like hook, format, angle, and messaging · Ad leaderboard and creative analytics dashboards · Unlimited seats and unlimited ad accounts · In-app chat support |
| Pro | Custom | For brands spending over $50k/month on ads · Everything in Starter · Unlimited view-only guests · Attribution integration with Northbeam or Google Analytics · Personalized onboarding |
| Growth | Custom | For brands spending over $250k/month on ads · Everything in Pro · Dedicated CSM · Private Slack channel support |
Only the entry Starter tier has a published price ($250/month). Pro and Growth require a sales call and scale with monthly ad spend rather than seat count. No annual discount is published.
