Vestd is a UK equity management platform for running share schemes, keeping a digital cap table, and handling the paperwork that comes with issuing options or shares. It covers EMI, growth shares, CSOP, and unapproved option schemes, plus HMRC valuations and submissions, shareholder registers, and Companies House filings.
It's built around UK company law and UK tax schemes first, so the workflows for EMI options, HMRC valuations, and confirmation statements are more built-out than the general cap table features you'd get from a US-first tool. Vestd also sells InVestd Raise, a separate product for running a funding round, billed as a flat monthly fee instead of taking a cut of the raise.

Who it's for
- ✓ UK companies running EMI, CSOP, or growth share schemes who want HMRC valuations and submissions handled inside the same platform
- ✓ Founders who want an account manager and legal templates alongside the software rather than a bare-bones tool
Who should look elsewhere
- ✗ US or multi-jurisdiction companies whose primary need is 409A valuations and US-style cap table software
- ✗ Very early-stage companies that can't absorb a 12-month contract or the Guided plan's price
Pros
- + Deep, UK-specific coverage of EMI, CSOP, and growth share schemes, including live HMRC submission support
- + Direct Companies House integration for filings and share movements
- + Support and account management get consistently strong marks in reviews
Cons
- – Every plan requires a 12-month minimum commitment, with no month-to-month option
- – Reviewers on Capterra repeatedly call the pricing high relative to other cap table tools
- – Full Service pricing is quote-only, so the top tier isn't comparable without a sales call
- – Self-Serve plan is capped at 5 scheme recipients and is only sold to existing customers
- – Some Trustpilot reviewers say the self-serve plan still needs legal know-how to run correctly despite the name, and that the 12-month minimum term wasn't always made clear upfront

Vestd FAQ
Is Vestd free?+
No. There is no free tier. The cheapest published plan, Self-Serve, starts at £2,200 a year and is only sold to existing customers.
How is Vestd priced?+
Vestd sells three named plans (Self-Serve, Guided, Full Service) rather than a per-seat price. Self-Serve and Guided have published annual and monthly prices; Full Service is quote-only. All plans require a 12-month minimum term and add VAT on top.
Is Vestd only for UK companies?+
Its core strength is UK share schemes and HMRC compliance, including EMI, CSOP, and live HMRC submissions. Companies outside the UK looking for 409A valuations should compare it against US-focused cap table tools.
Do customers think Vestd is expensive?+
Several reviewers on Capterra call the cost high, though many say the support and product quality justify it for them.
