Wix is a drag-and-drop website builder. You pick a template or let its AI put one together from a prompt, then edit everything visually with no code. It covers regular marketing sites, blogs, and online stores in one editor, with its own hosting, domain, and app marketplace bundled in.
The free plan lets you build and publish with a Wix subdomain and Wix ads on the page. Paid plans remove the ads, add a real domain, and unlock storage, ecommerce, and booking features as you go up the tiers. Ecommerce and payments only turn on from Core upward; Light stays a brochure site.
