Carrd is a builder for one-page websites: landing pages, link-in-bio pages, personal profiles, and simple product or event pages. You pick a template, drag in blocks like text, images, forms, and buttons, then publish.
It does not do multi-page sites, blogs, or a CMS. Everything lives on a single scrolling page per site, which is the whole point: it keeps setup fast and the output fast to load.
Pricing is based on how many site slots you need, not on traffic, seats, or features beyond the plan tier. The free plan covers 3 sites with Carrd branding. Paid plans start at $9/year and mostly just buy you more site slots plus, at the Standard and Plus tiers, custom domains, forms, and other extras.

Who it's for
- ✓ Founders who need a landing page or waitlist live within a day, without hiring a developer
- ✓ Marketers building link-in-bio pages, event pages, or coming-soon pages
- ✓ Anyone managing many small one-off sites who wants a cheap way to buy site slots in bulk
Who should look elsewhere
- ✗ Teams that need a blog, multiple pages, or a CMS for regular content updates
- ✗ Stores that need built-in e-commerce checkout
- ✗ Teams that need role-based collaboration or client handoff workflows
Pros
- + Cheapest way to get a real site live, starting at $9/year for a paid plan
- + No monthly billing complexity, one annual fee per slot tier
- + Fast to build in because there's only one page to design
- + Free plan is genuinely usable for testing or personal projects, not just a trial
Cons
- – Single page only, so it can't grow into a multi-page marketing site without a rebuild elsewhere
- – No blog or CMS, so any new content means manually editing the page again
- – No built-in e-commerce checkout
- – Custom domains and forms are locked behind the Standard tier, not included in the cheapest paid plan

Carrd FAQ
Is Carrd actually free?+
Yes. The free plan gives you 3 site slots with Carrd branding and no custom domain, forms, or widgets. It's usable for real projects, not just a trial.
How much does Carrd cost?+
Paid plans start at $9/year for Pro Lite (3 sites, no branding, no custom domain). Custom domains and forms need Pro Standard at $19/year. All plans bill annually, not monthly.
Can Carrd build a multi-page website?+
No. Every Carrd site is a single scrolling page. If you need multiple pages, a blog, or a CMS, you'll need a different builder.
What do the different plan tiers actually buy?+
Mostly more site slots. Pro Lite, Standard, and Plus differ in features (domains, forms, password protection), but within each series the higher-priced tiers just raise the number of sites you can have, from 3 up to 1000.
