Zoho Desk is a help desk platform built around one shared agent workspace. It pulls email, web forms, social media, chat, and phone conversations into a single ticket queue. Zoho announced it in November 2016 as what it called "the industry's first context-aware help desk software." That means it shows a customer's past activity and CRM data next to each ticket instead of treating every ticket as a blank slate.
Zoho Desk is part of Zoho Corporation's wider software suite, Zoho One. Zoho is a bootstrapped, privately held company headquartered in Chennai, India, with a US base in Austin, Texas. Its AI layer, Zia, adds sentiment analysis, an Answer Bot that auto-resolves tickets, anomaly detection on ticket volume, and a reply-writing assistant. The most capable AI features, Answer Bot, sentiment analysis, anomaly detection, and pre-built Zia agents, are locked to the top Enterprise plan.

We fetched Zoho's public pricing page on 2026-07-06. It auto-localizes currency by visitor location and showed INR pricing: Rs420, Rs800, Rs1,400, and Rs2,400 per agent per month billed annually for Express, Standard, Professional, and Enterprise. No static USD figures were embedded in the page markup. We confirmed the $7 per agent per month Express price directly in USD on Zoho's own Express plan page, zoho.com/desk/express/, which also states Express is capped at 5 users and shows $9 per agent per month on monthly, non-annual, billing. The remaining USD list prices, $14, $23, and $40 for Standard, Professional, and Enterprise, billed annually, are Zoho's standard published USD rates. We cross-confirmed them across multiple independent pricing trackers, desk365.io, featurebase.app, and costbench.com, and they line up with the fetched INR figures at roughly a 60:1 conversion ratio. Monthly, non-annual, billing costs more per agent than the annual rate shown here for Standard, Professional, and Enterprise. Exact monthly figures for those three tiers vary slightly by source and weren't confirmed directly from Zoho's page. Light agents, limited-permission users, are priced separately at a reduced rate on Professional and Enterprise, which also include free light-agent seats. Local taxes, VAT and GST, get added on top of listed prices.

Is Zoho Desk still actively developed?
Last significant update: January 2026. Zoho announced a Zoho Desk and Zoho Contracts integration, built on Zoho Flow. It automatically creates a Zoho Desk account and activates the matching SLA the moment a contract goes active in Zoho Contracts, so agents can start supporting a customer right after the contract is signed instead of setting up accounts and SLAs by hand.
