folk is a CRM built around the contacts you already have in Gmail, Outlook, LinkedIn, and WhatsApp rather than a blank pipeline you fill in by hand. The folkX browser extension pulls people straight off LinkedIn (including Sales Navigator) into your workspace, and folk syncs your inbox and calendar so contact history builds itself.
On top of that base, folk has added a set of AI assistants: Recap summarizes a contact's history, Research digs up background on a person or company, Follow-up drafts replies, and Workflow runs multi-step actions. These assistants are metered separately from the enrichment credits used to fill in contact data.
folk is aimed at small teams, agencies, and founders who want something closer to a shared, smart address book than a heavyweight sales pipeline tool, though Premium adds deal tracking and dashboards for teams that do want a pipeline.
Who it's for
- ✓ Small teams and agencies whose CRM is really a shared, enriched contact list built from LinkedIn and email
- ✓ Founders who want AI to summarize and research contacts without configuring a full sales stack
Who should look elsewhere
- ✗ Teams past roughly 10-15 people that need real forecasting, revenue reporting, or built-in automation without hitting shared credit caps
- ✗ Anyone who wants a genuinely free plan to start on
Pros
- + folkX makes it fast to pull leads and their context off LinkedIn, including Sales Navigator, straight into the CRM
- + AI assistants (Recap, Research, Follow-up, Workflow) cut down on manual note-taking and prospect research
- + Setup is quick since most of the CRM populates itself from synced email, calendar, and LinkedIn activity
Cons
- – No free-forever plan, only a 2-week trial
- – Deal tracking, sequences, dashboards, and API access are locked behind Premium, which is double the Standard price per seat
- – Enrichment credits and Magic fields are shared across the whole workspace, so a small team can burn through the monthly cap in days
- – Priority support, a dedicated account manager, and migration help are Enterprise-only; Standard and Premium get standard support
folk pricing
At about $24/month to start, it sits at the higher end of CRM & Marketing pricing.
| Plan | Price | Highlights |
|---|---|---|
| Standard | $24/seat/mo | Billed annually ($30/seat/month billed monthly) · Pipeline management and email campaigns · 500 contact enrichment credits per month, shared across the workspace · 2,000 Magic fields per month · Research Assistant (200/month) and Workflow Assistant (1,500/month) · folkX LinkedIn extension · Email, calendar, and WhatsApp sync · 5,000+ integrations via Zapier and Make · 1 account sync per member, 2,000 messages/member/month |
| Premium | $48/seat/mo | Billed annually ($60/seat/month billed monthly) · Everything in Standard · Custom objects and deals, email sequences, dashboards · REST API access · 1,000 enrichment credits and 5,000 Magic fields per month · 5 account syncs per member, 5,000 messages/member/month · Workflow Assistant jumps to 10,000/month (Research Assistant stays at 200/month, same as Standard) |
| Enterprise | Custom | From $80/seat/month billed annually · Custom limits on enrichment, messages, sync, and AI fields · Group-level permissions and security controls · Dedicated account manager and priority support |
Prices are per seat, billed annually (monthly billing costs more: $30 and $60 on Standard and Premium). There is no free-forever plan, only a 2-week trial with no credit card required. Deal tracking (custom objects), email sequences, dashboards, and API access all sit behind Premium, which is exactly double the Standard per-seat price. Enrichment credits and Magic fields are quoted as flat monthly pools rather than per-member, unlike account syncs and messages, so they read as workspace-wide caps.

folk FAQ
Does folk have a free plan?+
No. folk offers a 2-week free trial with no credit card required, but every plan after that is paid. The cheapest is Standard at $24/seat/month billed annually, or $30/seat/month billed monthly.
Do I need Premium to track deals?+
Yes. Custom objects and deal pipelines, email sequences, dashboards, and API access are all Premium-only features, and Premium costs double the Standard per-seat price.
What happens if my team runs out of enrichment credits?+
Enrichment credits (500/month on Standard, 1,000/month on Premium) are quoted as a flat pool for the workspace rather than per member, so a small team doing heavy prospecting can hit the cap before the month is out.
