Otter is a meeting notetaker that joins your Zoom, Google Meet, and Microsoft Teams calls, records and transcribes them in real time, and turns the transcript into a searchable note with a summary and action items. It was one of the first tools in this space and is now pushing beyond transcription into an AI chat you can ask questions about your past meetings.
In 2026 Otter added a desktop app that can capture conversations outside of scheduled meetings and connectors that pull context from Gmail, Notion, Salesforce and other tools into its chat. That widens what Otter tries to be, but the core product most buyers come for is still live transcription and meeting summaries.
